How to rotate PDF pages
- Open the PDFDrop the file onto the editor. Each page appears exactly as it is currently oriented.
- Rotate what needs itUse ↺ and ↻ on a page card to turn that page, and watch the thumbnail follow.
- Or rotate everythingPress Select all, then rotate — every page turns together.
- DownloadPress Download PDF. The rotation is stored in the file, so every viewer honours it.
A sideways scan is not just annoying to read; it prints wrong and it confuses text extraction. Most viewers can rotate the view temporarily, but that setting is not saved into the file — the next person to open it sees the same sideways page.
Rotating here writes the orientation into the page itself, so the correction travels with the document. Nothing is re-rendered: the page keeps its original resolution and text layer.
Why this one
Per page or all at once
Fix one crooked scan, or straighten a whole batch with Select all.
Saved into the file
The rotation is written to the page, not to a viewer setting, so it persists everywhere.
Lossless
No re-encoding. A rotated scan is bit-for-bit the same image, just oriented correctly.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate every page at once?
Press Select all in the toolbar, then press ↺ or ↻. All pages rotate together.
Does rotating lose image quality?
No. The rotation is recorded as page metadata; the page content is untouched.
Will the rotation stick in other PDF readers?
Yes. It is written into the page object, which every standards-compliant reader honours.
Can I rotate by 180 degrees?
Yes — press the same rotate button twice on the selected pages.
